Rafi Hasbani is the founding member of Hasbani & Light, P.C. and is admitted to practice in New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. He is also admitted to practice in federal courts in New York and New Jersey.
His practice includes creditors' rights, civil litigation, bankruptcy, real estate transactions, and personal injury. Rafi regularly represents distressed debt buyers and sellers, lenders, investors, loan servicers, and title insurance companies in high-value commercial and residential real estate litigation and transactions, from origination through exit.
In his creditors’ rights practice, Rafi has handled a wide range of matters on behalf of mortgage lenders, loan servicers, title insurance companies, and real estate investors, including, but not limited to, contested foreclosures, bankruptcies, REO closings, and quiet title actions.
Rafi earned his J.D. from Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center. He earned his B.A. in Political Science from Stony Brook University.
